CREED III x Crunch

Crunch Fitness and CREED III (MGM Studios/Amazon Studios) partnered ahead of the feature film’s release on March 3. As the official gym partner of CREED III, Crunch Fitness hosted a month-long partnership across all clubs in the US. This included a sweepstake offering an advance hometown screening of CREED III, and group fitness classes curated for, and sponsored by, CREED III. The partnership also included multiple in-club activations across the country.

Sweepstakes

The brands launched a national sweepstakes. Between February 1 and February 15, Crunch Fitness members and non-members had the opportunity to enter for the chance to win an advance hometown screening of CREED III and a 12-month Crunch Fitness membership. Nadine H from Jacksonville, FL was the winner of the national sweepstakes!

Powered by CREED III Classes

Participating Crunch locations across the US offered group fitness classes “powered by CREED III,” which included an upbeat and motivational music playlist curated by Michael B. Jordan himself! Crunch members had the ability to take CREED-inspired classes weekly, which include Brawl, Cardio Tai Box, Chisel & more.

Polk St. Event

Crunch Polk, the former Alhambra theater in San Francisco, hosted a CREED takeover on March 2, 2023, to garner excitement leading up to the premiere. The club projected the CREED I and CREED II films on their movie theater-sized screen and hosted custom “powered by CREED III” group fitness classes throughout the day. Additionally, KNTV, NBC’s local segment in The Bay Area, aired a broadcast segment showcasing the Crunch Polk St. event. In a piece entitled, Train Like Adonis in ‘Creed III’ at San Francisco Gym, Michelle Opperman, Group Fitness Regional Director at Crunch Fitness, spoke to the partnership as a whole, the “Powered by CREED III” classes, and the unique member event.

• CREED3 is the biggest opening in its franchise history
• CREED3 is Amazon’s biggest box office theatrical release opening ever
• CREED3 has become the Highest Opening Sports film in Motion Picture History (topping Karate Kid at $55.66M back in 2010)
