Ingredients:
● 1 large head cauliflower
● 2 table spoons olive oil
● 2 cloves garlic, minced
● 1 teaspoon kosher salt
● 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
● 1/4cupshreddedParmesancheese
● Chopped fresh parsley, optional, for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 425° F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Remove outer leaves from cauliflower and trim stem. Place cauliflower firmly on cutting board, stem side down. Slice vertically, all the way through the cauliflower, at 1 inch intervals, creating thick cauliflower steaks.
- Combine olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper in small bowl. Coat steaks generously with olive oil mixture and place onto prepared baking sheet.
- Roast cauliflower until fork tender, about 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve.
